Cortagen 20mg: The Brain Cortex and Nerve Bioregulator

Nerve tissue is the slowest tissue in the body to repair. Anyone who has dealt with a pinched nerve, sciatic pain or lingering numbness after an injury knows that muscle comes back in weeks and nerves come back in months, if they come back cleanly at all.

Cortagen is a short peptide bioregulator derived from brain cortex tissue, built from the tetrapeptide sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro. It is the cortex-specific member of the Khavinson bioregulator family, and one of the more interesting ones because its research extends beyond the brain into peripheral nerve tissue.

What the Research Covers

Peripheral nerve regeneration. This is Cortagen’s standout research area. Studies have examined nerve fibre recovery after injury.
Cortical function. Research covers cognitive markers, memory and attention tied to cortex tissue specifically.
Neuroinflammation. Some studies have looked at inflammatory response in neural tissue.
Recovery after neural stress. Research includes models of traumatic and ischemic neural injury.

Cortagen and Pinealon get stacked constantly because they cover different neural territory. Pinealon works the pineal and general CNS angle for clarity and sleep. 1. Mix it and draw it

Put 2mL of bac water into the 20mg vial. That makes 10mg per mL. On a 100-unit insulin pin, 10 units = 1mg. Units measure volume, not milligrams, so this only holds if you used 2mL of water.

3. Why this dose

Cortagen is dosed by body weight: 10 micrograms per kilo. A 220lb lifter is 100kg, so 1mg a day. That is half the flat 2mg used for most of the line, so a vial lasts twice as long. The figure is reported research practice, not a trial result.

5. What you are injecting

Alaalanine–Gluglutamate–Aspaspartate–Proproline

4 amino acids in a chain. Formula C₁₇H₂₆N₄O₉, molecular weight 430.4 g/mol.

Cortagen was reverse-engineered from Cortexin, a brain cortex extract Russian neurologists use. In mice, five days of shots changed how 110 known genes were running in heart tissue, so it is not only a brain compound. Its reputation rests on nerve regrowth work in rats.

6. The gaps

The human nerve claim has no published trial behind it that you can read. If you have a real nerve injury, ARA-290 is the one with human data.
