ARA-290 10mg: The Innate Repair Receptor Peptide
Nerve pain is its own category of problem. It does not respond to the things that fix muscle and joint issues, it does not follow a normal healing timeline, and most compounds that help with inflammation do nothing for it at all.
ARA-290, also called Cibinetide, is an 11 amino acid peptide derived from the helix B region of the erythropoietin molecule. The key point is what was removed: ARA-290 has no effect on red blood cell production. It keeps only the tissue-protective signalling, which it delivers by activating the innate repair receptor.
What the Research Covers
- Small fibre neuropathy. ARA-290 has been through human clinical trials in sarcoidosis-related small fibre neuropathy, with measured improvement in corneal nerve fibre density.
- Neuropathic pain. Trials have measured pain scores and quality of life endpoints in neuropathy patients.
- Diabetic neuropathy. Research has examined metabolic control and nerve function in diabetic models.
- Inflammatory response. Innate repair receptor activation is anti-inflammatory without broad immune suppression.
- Tissue protection. Pre-clinical work covers kidney, cardiac and neural tissue under ischemic stress.
How It Differs From the Bioregulators
ARA-290 is not a Khavinson bioregulator and does not work the same way. The bioregulators are short peptides that act on gene expression in one specific tissue type. ARA-290 is a receptor agonist with a defined target and a much larger body of human clinical data behind it. If you are building a nerve protocol, ARA-290 is the evidence-backed centrepiece and Cortagen is the bioregulator that complements it.
